The ASU Sun Devil Marching Band, known for its musical excellence, has collaborated with various renowned artists. These collaborations, including the unforgettable halftime show at the Big 12 championship with Ne-Yo, have further solidified the band's reputation for versatility and excellence.
The 350+ member ensemble has earned accolades like the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Trophy in 1991, the highest honor at the collegiate level, and has graced prestigious events, including the Rose Bowl halftime shows and the 1987 and 1997 Rose Bowl parades. Performing in Mountain America Stadium, the band combines fresh musical arrangements, intricate precision drills and engaging pageantry at all home games. Hard work, high standards and a welcoming family atmosphere foster a unique Sun Devil pride within the organization.

We generally take the music for this audition from the first marching show of the season or pregame and make it available in mid-July. (This only includes the following sections: clarinet, mellophone, trumpet, trombone and sousaphone— depending on the numbers in each section).
