Band

In addition to close friends and school spirit, the ASU Sun Devil Marching Band offers musical rewards for the aspiring musician, as well as a unique and rich experience for the non-music major who enjoys music as an avocation.

The ASU Sun Devil Marching Band is known as "The Pride of the Southwest," and with good reason. In 1991, it was the recipient of the John Philip Sousa Foundation Sudler Trophy, which is the highest award given at the collegiate level. Performing in the 56,000-seat Mountain America Stadium, the band features new musical arrangements as well as a mixture of precision drills and pageantry at all home games. Hard work, high standards and a family atmosphere bring a very special Sun Devil Pride to the organization.

The Sun Devil Marching Band is seated in Section 18. The visiting team band is seated in the North end zone.

Come rock with Sparky, the Spirit Squad and the Sun Devil Marching Band on the South side of Desert Financial Arena 90 minutes prior to kickoff.
