Ung Named CSC Academic All-American

Graduate setter Argentina Ung earned CSC Academic All-America Third Team honors, a first for Sun Devil Volleyball since 2022 and 11th nod in team history.

There have been just two from Arizona State to be an AVCA All-American and academic All-American in the same year, the other being Amanda Burbridge in 2000. Ung earned AVCA Third Team All-America honors this season. The last academic All-American for ASU was Iman Isanovic, who earned the honor in both 2021 and 2022. Ung is also the first academic All-American for Arizona State this academic year.

Pacing the offense all season was graduate setter Argentina Ung, who was a grad transfer for Arizona State. Ung made an impact, helping ASU hit .272 on the year, top 20 in the nation for hitting percentage. Ung dished out 1,131 assists and surpassed 3,000 career assists this season. She was an AVCA All-American (third team), AVCA All-District, the Big 12 Setter of the Year, and All-Big 12 First Team.
