TNF in Texas This September for the Sun Devils

ASU's first football road game of the 2024 season will now happen on Thursday, September 12, at Texas State in San Marcos, as the schools have agreed to the switch for ESPN platform purposes that will be determined later this spring.
The Bobcats -- who will return the trip to Tempe in 2025 -- went 8-5 in 2023 and defeated Rice in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.
The Sun Devils -- with nearly 20,000 alumni residing in Texas -- will make back-to-trips to the state as it takes on Texas Tech nine days later in its Big 12 opener.
The game was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14, but it was moved up two days and will appear on ESPN platforms.
