Arizona State wins three major awards and leads the Big 12 with 11 All-Conference selections.

IRVING, Texas - The Big 12 Conference announced their 2024 All-Conference honors and Sun Devil Football was well represented.

Head Coaches around the league vote on the awards and showed a tremendous amount of respect for the Big 12 Champions. Kenny Dillingham was named Big 12 Coach of the Year, becoming just the fifth coach in program history to earn the distinction. Quarterback Sam Leavitt was selected as Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year while wide receiver Jordyn Tyson took home Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year.

Arizona State landed four players on the first team and four on the second team, with a total of 11 Sun Devils receiving All-Conference distinction. It is the most first/second team selections for ASU since 2013. The four first team members are the most since 2019. Arizona State leads the Big 12 with their eight combined first or second team honorees.

QB Sam Leavitt - Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year
- One of only four quarterbacks nationally to have 24 or more touchdowns and five or fewer interceptions (only Big 12 QB)
- Second-most passing yards of any freshman in the nation. Needs 242 yards to pass Ball State's Kadin Semonza
- 30 completions away from entering the Top-10 for completions by a Sun Devil in a single season
- Tied for 9th in program history with 24 touchdown passes this season. Needs four more to move into the Top-5
- Second-most passing yards by a freshman in program history. 281 yards away from establishing a new passing yards record for freshman quarterbacks at ASU

- Only the 11th Sun Devil to catch 10 touchdowns
- 10th-most in single-season receiving yards. Sixth-most by a Sun Devil in a 12-game season
- 5 games going over 100 receiving yards

RB Cam Skattebo - First Team
- Only player in the country with 1,000+ rushing yards and 400+ receiving yards, even with a missed game. Has over 500 receiving yards, putting him in even more exclusive company
- First Big 12 player ever to have at least 1500 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards in the same season. First FBS player to do it since McCaffrey in 2015
- Four games with 200+ scrimmage yards this season tied with UNC's Omario Hampton for 2nd-most in FBS. Tied for most of any Big 12 player in last 20 seasons with Chuba Hubbard from Oklahoma State in 2019
- 1,586 rushing yards this season put him 2nd on Arizona State's all-time single-season rushing yards lists. Needs 85 rushing yards to pass Eno Benjamin's single-season program record set in 2018
- Named Most Outstanding Player of the 2024 Big 12 Championship Game

- Has played 3,453 snaps in his career, third-most among active FBS centers
- A big reason why Skattebo is on pace to break several single-season program records
- Just 5 pressures credited against him, tied for 12th-fewest among FBS players and 7th among centers (min. 300 pass block snaps)
- His 1.3 pressure allowed percentage is 8th among FBS centers
- Credited with a 88.0 pass-blocking grade, the 4th-best grade for any FBS center and 13th among all players

DL CJ Fite - Second Team
- Started all 13 games at defensive tackle for Arizona State
- Frequently took on double teams and was a focal point of opposing offenses blocking schemes
- Finished with 29 total tackles (most of any ASU DL), three tackles for loss, two sacks, and two QB hurries
- Recovered a fumble and returned it for a one-yard touchdown in the win over Mississippi State
- Recorded at least one tackle in 11 of 13 games
- His six tackles for loss or no gain are 6th among the league's interior linemen and Top-40 nationally
- Has been credited with 14 defensive "stops" are 10th among Big 12 interior players

LB Keyshaun Elliot - Second Team
- Key piece of a much-improved Sun Devil defense
- Transferred in from New Mexico State and immediately earned a starting role
- Played in 12 games, starting eight of them
- Finished with 57 total tackles (5th on team), 3.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks
- Added an interception, two pass breakups, and two QB hurries
- Four games with 7+ tackles, including a 12-tackle performance in the road win over Texas State
- Opened the season with an interception in ASU's dominant win over Wyoming

OL Ben Coleman - Honorable Mention
- Consistent force on the interior of the Sun Devil offensive line
- Paved the way for one of the top rushing attacks in the nation and in program history
- Returned from an injury that kept him out all of last year to play in every game this year
- Started all 13 games at left guard for Arizona State
- 23rd among all FBS players with just 6 pressures credited by PFF this season (min. 300 pass block snaps)
- His 1.5 pressure allowed percentage on 390 pass block snaps is 34th
- Has not been credited with allowing a sack this season

LB Caleb McCullough - Honorable Mention
- The lone sixth-year player on the roster to spend his entire career at ASU
- Patience paid off, as he enjoyed a breakout season
- Played in all 13 games, making four starts
- Finished with 73 total tackles (3rd on team) and seven tackles for loss (T-most on team)
- One of five Sun Devils to record multiple interceptions
- Picked off a pair of passes in the win over No. 16 Utah
- Named Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week on 10/16
- Second-highest graded Big 12 linebacker on run defense (84.1) and 30th-highest graded linebacker in the FBS in the category
- 8th-best run stopping grade in the Big 12 overall and 30th among all FBS linebackers (84.1)

DB Myles Rowser - Honorable Mention
- Instant impact transfer from New Mexico State
- Started all 13 games at safetey
- Lead the team with 93 total tackles, 47 of which were solo
- Added 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, and five pass breakups, effecting the game in many ways
- Five games with 8+ tackles, 3 games with 10+ tackles
- Credited with at least a half a tackle for loss in five games
- Enjoyed an incredible all-around performance at Texas Tech (9/21), making nine tackles, one tackle for loss, and one sack. Added two quarterback hurries and three pass breakups
- Season-high 13 tackles and added a tackle for loss at Cincinnati (10/19)
- Reached 200 career tackles thanks to a six-tackle performance in the Big 12 Championship win (12/7)
