Regular Season Ends with Win for No. 22 Men's Tennis

Box Score Washington– No. 22 Arizona State men's tennis (16-8, 4-2) downed Washington (8-14, 2-6) in the regular-season finale after picking up a 4-2 win on Saturday in Seattle. For the second-straight match, junior Murphy Cassone clinched the match for the Sun Devils after winning in the third set today. 

The pair of Jacob Bullard and Murphy Cassone improved to 9-1 on the season after taking down Washington's Dzianis Zharyn and Brett Pearson. This comes one day after they defeated Oregon's #46 ranked pair in yesterday's match. 

After a quick defeat on court three, courts one and two pulled through to get wins and secure the doubles point for the Sun Devils and it was a 1-0 ASU lead. 

Senior Jacob Bullard made quick work of his opponent, winning in straight sets, and putting ASU ahead 2-0. Martin Vergara Del Puerto fell in straight sets at the fifth position and the Sun Devil lead was 2-1.

Max McKennon won in straight sets which evened out Roi Ginat falling in straight sets and Arizona State led 3-2. Murphy Cassone came from behind in his third set to clinch the match for ASU.
