Big 12 Announces 2025 Softball Conference Matchups
Sun Devils host BYU, Arizona, Kansas, and Baylor at Club Farrington
TEMPE – As Sun Devil Softball prepares for its inaugural season as a member of the Big 12 in 2025, the conference released the dates and matchups for the eight league series each team will play on Tuesday.
Arizona State will alternate between home and away each week of the conference season, starting March 6-8, when they host BYU during the opening week of Big 12 play. The series opener on March 6 will be the first league game of the season for any of the 11 teams in the league, with the remaining series beginning the following day.
ASU will make its longest trip of the season the next week as they head to Orlando, Fla., for a series with UCF on March 14-16. That leads into the Territorial Cup Series against Arizona on March 21-23 at Farrington Stadium.
After making a road trip to face Iowa State on March 28-30, the Sun Devils will welcome Kansas to Tempe for three games on April 4-6. It will be the first trip to the desert by the Jayhawks since the 2020 Kajikawa Classic. The Sun Devils will voyage to Salt Lake City to face Utah on April 11-13 in a battle of former Pac-12 rivals.
Baylor comes to town over Easter Weekend for an April 17-19 series. That precedes a series at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas, on April 25-27. ASU will have its bye week the following weekend.
The 2025 Big 12 Softball Championship will be held at OGE Field at Devon Park in Oklahoma City. The single-elimination tournament is scheduled for May 7-10.
ASU's non-conference schedule, which includes the Kajikawa Classic and additional home tournaments, will be announced in November.
