Sun Devil Outlook
No. 21 Arizona State (8-5)

  • The Sun Devils are coming off of their best performance of the season, scoring a 197.600 in the win over Southern Connecticut on Senior Night last Friday. The squad earned season highs on beam (49.550) and floor (49.450). The beam score is tied for the sixth-highest in ASU history, the highest the Sun Devils have earned since 2007.
  • Arizona State earned a winning record for the third-consecutive season, the longest such streak since the early 2000s. ASU hasn't had a losing record since 2017.
  • ASU scored at least a 49.000 on all four events, making that nine meets in a row doing so. The vault streak is up to 21 in a row with 49-plus, extending the program record. Additionally, the bars streak is up to 20 in a row, a new program record.
  • Senior Emily White had a historic night as she broke and tied many of her previous records. Earning three 9.950s on bars, beam, and floor, she set a new career high all-around record with a 39.625, which is now the 15th highest all-around record in program history. Her beam and floor scores tied her personal best, while her bars score set a new career high. She claimed all event titles except vault, earning her first event titles of the season on bars and in the all-around.
  • The Gym Devils have 33 total event titles this season, with the most coming from vault (12). Individually, White has the most with seven (earning five just last Friday). Fellow senior Anaya Smith is right behind her with six, all on vault. Others with titles are Sarah Clark (5), Hannah Scharf (5), Jada Mangahas (4), Halle Gregoire (2), Alex Theodorou (2), Kayla Lee (1) and Gracie Reeves (1).
  • The senior experience on this team is vast, with seven seniors and two graduates. Of the 33 event titles, 28 are from seniors and graduates. In last meet's lineup, five of the 24 routines were from a non-senior or graduate.
  • Three seniors recently announced their return for a fifth year in 2025: Clark, Mangahas and White will all be coming back next season. Between them, they have 23 scores of 9.9 or better this year, led by 11 from White. They also have 16 total event titles in 2024.
