Sun Devils close Corky Classic with all-around team effort

Tempe, Ariz. – Sun Devil Track & Field wrapped the two-day Corky Classic with a complete team effort, totaling two titles, 10 top-three finishes and numerous updates to the team's Indoor record book.

Dayton Carlson and Jayden Davis added two titles in the meet's opener on Friday, but the Sun Devils added on Saturday with a total of seven top-three finishes. Sun Devil throwers Danielle Sloley (2nd/shot put), Ines Lopez (3rd/shot put), Brandon Lloyd (2nd/shot put) paced the way, and Josie Coffey's arrival continues to be a boost for the jumpers. Coffey went 1.83m in the Women's high jump to place third overall, now tied for the fourth-best mark in Indoor team history.
