Tempe, Arizona – Two former Sun Devil Hockey defensemen, Noah Beck and Ty Murchison, have signed professional contracts with teams in the NHL.

Beck signed with the San Jose Sharks to a one-year, entry-level contract and Murchison signed with the Philadelphia Flyers to a two-year, entry-level deal. Both contracts are set for the beginning of the 2025-26 NHL season.

The Richmond Hill, Ontario native was second in the conference among defensemen in assists and finished his final collegiate season with a goal and three assists in the NCHC Frozen Faceoff.

Murchison finished his career in the Valley playing 146 regular season games for ASU.
