Another top 3 finish for consistent Men's Golf

CARROLLTON, Texas -- After their third trip to Texas of the season, No. 3 Men's Golf returns home with a third place finish with a 24-over finish total of 888 (288-294-306). Two Sun Devils had top-10 finishes, Michael Mjaaseth finished in fourth with an even score while Fifa Laopakdee finished tied for tenth at 4-over.

The third round wasn't without challenge, but the Maroon and Gold were able to battle through and finish in the top five of many team categories. ASU had the third lowest team scoring average on the par-3's, the fourth lowest scoring average on the par-5's, and the most pars at 179. 

Of the 10 birdies scored in round three, Michael Mjaaseth contributed the most with three to help lead to his fourth place finish. He also finished tied for second for lowest scoring average on the par-4's and had 11 birdies throughout the entire tournament, the fourth highest of anyone else in the field.

Other notable stats from Sun Devils were Peer Wernicke finishing in third for the lowest scoring average on the par-5's and Fifa Laopakdee tying for first as the individual with the most pars throughout the tournament (42).
