Men's Hoops Falls to No. 9 Florida in Atlanta
Arizona State had its eight-game win streak snapped by No. 9 Florida.
The Arizona State men's basketball team (8-2) had its eight-game win streak snapped by the No. 9 Florida Gators (10-0) Saturday afternoon, 83-66, in Atlanta.
Adam Miller led ASU with a season-high 18 points, but Florida outrebounded the Sun Devils 47-27 and held ASU to just 23-of-62 (.371) from the field. The Gators had a 9-0 run in just over 1:25 midway through the second half to put the game out of reach, as ASU found itself down by only nine at halftime, but could not keep pace with a red-hot Florida team.
ASU will next play UMass on Saturday, Dec. 21 in its final non-conference game in Springfield at MassMutual Center at 6 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network.
